Boston's Chinatown holds one of its largest events, the August Moon Festival, held annually around the Chinatown Gateway arch on Harrison Ave. According to legend, in 1368 the Chinese overthrew the Mongol Yuan dynasty with the help of messages hidden in mooncakes.
