Council on International Children's Services
(JCICS)
JCICS is an association of licensed, nonprofit
international adoption agencies, promoting
ethical practices and effective services for
children. JCICS member agencies (including
the Alliance) subscribe to established standards
of practice designed to protect the rights
of children, birth parents, and adoptive parents.

Adoption Information Clearinghouse
A service of the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services, the NAIC was established
by Congress in 1987 to provide free information
on all aspects of adoption. The NAIC website
provides comprehensive information on domestic
and intercountry adoption. Includes a link
with many resources for prospective and adoptive
parents.

American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC)
NACAC offers education, parent support, research,
and advocacy in the U.S. and Canada, around
adoption and foster care issues, and it hosts
a comprehensive adoption training conference
each year. NACAC puts out a quarterly newsletter,
and conducts training sessions and workshops
on adoption subsidy, child welfare reform,
and other issues related to foster care and
special needs adoption.
